What is an Approval Queue?

An approval queue is where FLAGGED transactions wait for a human — the control that keeps agents fast while material spend gets reviewed.

How it works

When a transaction crosses an approval threshold, it returns FLAGGED.

It lands in the queue with amount, merchant, category, and the rule that fired.

A human approves or denies; only then does the agent proceed.

Why it matters

Hard blocks stop bad spend but also legitimate edge cases.

The queue makes the middle path — review, not deny — fast and auditable.

FAQ

Who reviews the queue?

Whoever owns the budget — finance ops, platform lead, or team lead.

As long as your team takes; the design target is minutes, not days.
